Turning Japanese
We love Japanese food! Hahaha Roy and I already dined (we think!) in all of the Japanese restaurants at the Mall of Asia. Oki Oki at the North Side is the last one we tried, and we enjoyed the food there! Well, in comparing jap restos at MOA, Tanabe at 2nd Floor, Ocean Drive is still the best for us. But Oki Oki for us, so far, is 2nd best. It trumped Sakura, and left all others (Rai Rai Ken, Tempura, etc…) trailing behind. Worst for us is Sakae Sushi, and Tokyo Tokyo, well, its fast food - it really does not count.
Note that our evaluation does not include the Jap Cafes like Tokyo Cafe and UCC.
How do we evaluate the food? We practically order the same dishes from the menu: Miso Soup/Tamago Soup, Kani Salad, Salmon and Tuna Sashimi, Yakimeshi/Chahan, Ebi Tempura, GindaraTeriyaki/Chicken Teppanyaki.
And then we compare from memory.
(Can someone please teach me how to say Bon Appetit in Japanese?)

before eating, parang short prayer of sorts is “itadakimasu” — the tokyo tokyo jingle of imago says this. it is pronounced as i-ta-da-ki-mas.
