sightings
we saw an eel like this when we went snorkelling last weekend. it was scary! i was very near its territory and i guess it got intimidated and tried to chase me off. and it succeeded! i won’t risk being nipped by this creature.
it was also the first time for us to see a lion fish and a blue jellyfish! there’s also a fish that hides itself in the sand but i can’t identify it. what camouflage! but its nice to see the snappers and the surgeon fishes and the sergeant majors again. i think we also saw another kind of damsel fish, a wrasse and some kind of a parrotfish.
the blue jellyfish looked like this but the color is much bluer. it looks like a juvenile and its so pretty but we bet it stings! roy saw it swimming towards him and it looked like a floating small water-filled balloon, around 3 -4 inches in diameter. according to the net, its scientific name is Thystanostoma Flagellatum.
